For Immediate Sympathetic Help
How does FISH Operate?
Member churches recruit volunteers and contribute funds. Each church has a representative on the FISH Council. FISH has no paid professional staff, no office, and minimal operating expense, which frees more than 95% of ther donations for direct outreach services.
How is FISH Funded?
Member churches support the work of FISH through their outreach programs. FISH also welcomes donations from individuals and groups to meet the growing needs of our less fortunate neighbors. Service groups are encouraged to make FISH part of their charitable works. Federal and Fairfax County Employees have contributed through United Way using # 8305 or Combined Federal Campaign using #72413 as the respective designated codes. FISH receives grants.
